- ELEVEN YEARS AGO in the Chicago Loop, a young woman approached me and asked for a cigarette. I don't smoke. She replied, "Ahh, you look like the right type" and ran off. Hey Mark - I really like what you've been doing the past few days with these. The drawings for today and January 31st really feel fantastical - almost like children's book illustrations from Dr. Seuss or Maurice Sendak. They feel like they're opening up the door to a whole world somehow.
