ELEVEN YEARS AGO in the Chicago Loop, a young woman approached me and asked for a cigarette. I don't smoke. She replied, "Ahh, you look like the right type" and ran off. I ran home and illustrated her words, and have been listening in and drawing overheard dialogue, every day, ever since. Contact me through my website: markaddisonsmith.com.
