- ELEVEN YEARS AGO in the Chicago Loop, a young woman approached me and asked for a cigarette. I don't smoke. She replied, "Ahh, you look like the right type" and ran off. Was this in a sign? Or overheard?
Either way, I loved the ambiguity of the line.
This was overheard...something about the proclamation of '24 Hours' always makes me think of neon signs. Black and white in this case, though.
